your aircel sim-card and make it completely working. But firstly i want to tell
you about why i am sharing this information and how i get to know about this.
It may be your story too.
A few weeks back, i
bought an aircel sim from the retailer and he told me that the sim would be
activated after you would do the verification process. I did it so and my verification
process completed easily and customer care executive told me that your sim
would be activated within 4 hours. I had been waiting for that whole day but
nothing happened. Next day i went to the retailer (from where i bought the sim)
about complaining that my sim is not working. Aircel sim showing the full network
but there is no incoming/ outgoing and i unable to recharge with any top-up and
full talk-time scheme. They told me to call the customer care as there is no
problem from there side ( after they checked my aircel sim status). I called
the aircel customer care and they said that they don't have any idea why it's
happening and it's not their matter, call to 59059 and i called 1000 times but
unable to call them successfully even for a single time. This process goes on,
and i called customer care and 59059 number for a week but nothing
happened and even i filed several online complaints about my sim is not
working, no incoming/outgoing calls and unable to recharge my aircel number.
Then i found number 9716012345 which are for non-aircel user. I called to this
number from my other number and i started complaining to customer care
executive about my sim is not working and all that, and luckily she told me
about the FRG (First Retailer Go) that once your sim is activated (if u have
full network showing it means your sim is activated) you have to go the
retailer where you have bought sim and ask him to recharge your sim. Then i
went to my aircel sim retailer and told him that i buy a sim from you and maybe
it's activated and please recharge my phone (even though i went to him several
times, he did not know what to do before as he has such a useless mind).
Finally my aircel sim is activated with in seconds after that with full
services. I thanked God and to that customer care executive.
How to activate aircel sim
Now i am going to tell how to activate your aircel sim in
the step by step manner.
1. If you have purchased a new aircel sim from the retailer
after giving your address proof and photo, then wait for a day at least till it
reaches at the aircel service center.
2. Next day, call from your sim to 59059 and
complete your verification (customer care executive ask your name, father's
name and address).
3. Your sim will be activated within 24 hrs and you will see
full network in your phone. Your new aircel sim sends you gprs and mms
settings, install them on your phone and restart your phone (aircel sim is
ready to use message may appears on your phone).
4. If your phone is showing the full aircel network and grps
and mms settings installed that doesn't mean sim's incoming and outgoings calls
are activated because your aircel server is still down.
5. If you can't call to 59059 and your
verification is not completed, then go to the retailer where you purchased the
sim and tell him that your are not able to do verification process.The retailer
will check it out if your aircel sim document reaches to aircel service center
or not. If he said no, then he may ask you to further give your address proof
and photo. If he said everything is fined, then you should able to call 59059
and if you still not able to call to 59059, then the sim is faulty and ask the
retailer to replace your sim.
6. Once the verification is completed successfully and then
you go to your sim-card retailer and ask him to recharge/activate your sim and
tell him that you have bought a new aircel sim from him. Then the retailer will
activate your sim(free)and within seconds your sim will be activated with full
services. You may get promo talk-time and promo data balance that your retailer
offers you with sim.
Note:- you can't recharge your phone
through online or other apps until you haven't recharged/activated with the
retailer due to FRG (First Retailer Go) which means after successful
verification you have to go to the retailer to activate your new aircel sim
first, only after that you can enjoy aircel full services (incoming/outgoing
and online recharge/recharge through other retailers).
